Asal Usul Danau Toba
Di wilayah Sumatera hiduplah seorang petani yang sangat rajin bekerja. Ia hidup sendiri sebatang kara. Setiap hari ia bekerja menggarap lading dan mencari ikan dengan tidak mengenal lelah. Hal ini dilakukannya untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya sehari-hari.
Pada suatu hari petani tersebut pergi ke sungai di dekat tempat tinggalnya, ia bermaksud mencari ikan untuk makannya hari ini. Dengan hanya berbekal sebuah kail, umpan dan tempat ikan, ia pun langsung menuju ke sungai. Setelah sesampainya di sungai, petani tersebut langsung melemparkan kailnya. Sambil menunggu kailnya dimakan ikan, petani tersebut berdoa,“Ya Alloh, semoga aku dapat ikan banyak hari ini”. Beberapa saat setelah berdoa, kail yang dilemparkannya tadi nampak bergoyang-goyang. Ia segera menarik kailnya. Petani tersebut sangat senang sekali, karena ikan yang didapatkannya sangat besar dan cantik sekali.
Setelah beberapa saat memandangi ikan hasil tangkapannya, petani itu sangat terkejut. Ternyata ikan yang ditangkapnya itu bisa berbicara. “Tolong aku jangan dimakan Pak!! Biarkan aku hidup”, teriak ikan itu. Tanpa banyak bertanya, ikan tangkapannya itu langsung dikembalikan ke dalam air lagi. Setelah mengembalikan ikan ke dalam air, petani itu bertambah terkejut, karena tiba-tiba ikan tersebut berubah menjadi seorang wanita yang sangat cantik.
“Jangan takut Pak, aku tidak akan menyakiti kamu”, kata si ikan. “Siapakah kamu ini? Bukankah kamu seekor ikan?, Tanya petani itu. “Aku adalah seorang putri yang dikutuk, karena melanggar aturan kerajaan”, jawab wanita itu. “Terimakasih engkau sudah membebaskan aku dari kutukan itu, dan sebagai imbalannya aku bersedia kau jadikan istri”, kata wanita itu. Petani itupun setuju. Maka jadilah mereka sebagai suami istri. Namun, ada satu janji yang telah disepakati, yaitu mereka tidak boleh menceritakan bahwa asal-usul Puteri dari seekor ikan. Jika janji itu dilanggar maka akan terjadi petaka dahsyat.
Setelah beberapa lama mereka menikah, akhirnya kebahagiaan Petani dan istrinya bertambah, karena istri Petani melahirkan seorang bayi laki-laki. Anak mereka tumbuh menjadi anak yang sangat tampan dan kuat, tetapi ada kebiasaan yang membuat heran semua orang. Anak tersebut selalu merasa lapar, dan tidak pernah merasa kenyang. Semua jatah makanan dilahapnya tanpa sisa.
Hingga suatu hari anak petani tersebut mendapat tugas dari ibunya untuk mengantarkan makanan dan minuman ke sawah di mana ayahnya sedang bekerja. Tetapi tugasnya tidak dipenuhinya. Semua makanan yang seharusnya untuk ayahnya dilahap habis, dan setelah itu dia tertidur di sebuah gubug. bapak tani menunggu kedatangan anaknya, sambil menahan haus dan lapar. Karena tidak tahan menahan lapar, maka ia langsung pulang ke rumah. Di tengah perjalanan pulang, pak tani melihat anaknya sedang tidur di gubug. Petani tersebut langsung membangunkannya. “Hey, bangun!, teriak petani itu.
Setelah anaknya terbangun, petani itu langsung menanyakan makanannya. “Mana makanan buat ayah?”, Tanya petani. “Sudah habis kumakan”, jawab si anak. Dengan nada tinggi petani itu langsung memarahi anaknya. "Anak tidak tau diuntung ! Tak tahu diri! Dasar anak ikan!," umpat si Petani tanpa sadar telah mengucapkan kata pantangan dari istrinya.
Setelah petani mengucapkan kata-kata tersebut, seketika itu juga anak dan istrinya hilang lenyap tanpa bekas dan jejak. Dari bekas injakan kakinya, tiba-tiba keluarlah air yang sangat deras. Air meluap sangat tinggi dan luas sehingga membentuk sebuah telaga. Dan akhirnya membentuk sebuah danau. Danau itu akhirnya dikenal dengan nama Danau Toba.

Origin of Lake Toba

After a while they were married, farmer and his wife finally happiness increases, because the farmer's wife gave birth to a baby boy. Their child grow into a very handsome boy and powerful, but there is a habit that makes everyone wonder. The child was always hungry, and never feel full. Devour all the food rations without rest.
Until one day the farmer's son from his mother got a job to deliver food and drinks into the fields where his father was working. But the task is not fulfilled. All foods should be eaten up to his father, and after that he slept in a hut. farmer father waiting for his son, while holding the thirsty and hungry. Unable to bear hunger, so he went back home. Sampoerna Luncurkan sekolah Internasional standar
putera sampoerna bekerja sama dengan ExxonMobil meluncurkan tingkat sekolah asrama dari sekolah menengah atas (SMA) dan standar internasional pertama di indonesia. sekolah ini didedikasikan untuk siswa dan prestasi siswa dari pra-sejahtera keluarga diseluruh indonesia.
Nenny Soemawinata, Managing Director Putera Sampoerna Foundation mengatakan, ada sebanyak 200 siswa dan mahasiswa yang telah melewati proses seleksi ketat dan berhasil menyisihkan lebih dari 1.000 pendaftar dari seluruh Indonesia untuk mendapatkan beasiswa penuh dengan nilai total sebesar 3,15 juta dolar AS dari Yayasan ExxonMobil.
Para siswa laki-laki dan perempuan yang dipilih adalah mereka yang telah menyisihkan lebih dari 1.000 pelamar dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Proses seleksi dibagi menjadi lima tahap seleksi yang ketat, pemilihan dokumen, tes akademik, tes psikologi, wawancara, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), serta kunjungan rumah bagi calon mahasiswa (kunjungan rumah).
Sampoerna Academy Kampus Bogor terdiri dari mahasiswa dari seluruh wilayah di Indonesia, termasuk Sumatera, Kalimantan, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), untuk Papua Barat. Selain itu, sejumlah mahasiswa atau siswa ada juga yang berasal dari pengoperasian ExxonMobil, antara Blora, Cepu dan Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur.
Selanjutnya Nenny menjelaskan, Sampoerna Academy adalah kurikulum pendidikan internasional diadaptasi dari Universitas Cambridge dengan kurikulum nasional atau Satuan Pendidikan Kurikulum Tingkat (SBC).
Sementara itu, Bupati Bogor, Rahmat Yasin mengatakan sangat mendukung pembukaan sekolah Sampoerna Academy Kampus di Bogor Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Ia berharap suatu hari sekolah ini dapat mencetak lebih banyak siswa dan prestasi siswa dan contoh bagi sekolah lain sehingga kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia terus meningkat.
Untuk informasi, Putera Sampoerna Foundation pada tahun 2009 telah membuka Sampoerna Academy di Malang, dan Palembang, di mana siswa pria dan wanita di Malang mayoritas berasal dari wilayah Jawa Timur, sedangkan siswa adalah anak perempuan di Palembang berasal dari Sumatera dan Kalimantan. Para siswa total semua Sampoerna Academy saat ini mencapai 993 siswa dengan 525 siswa dan mahasiswa baru 2011/2012 berlaku. Tahun ini, Putera Sampoerna Foundation Sampoerna Academy berencana untuk meresmikan di Bali.

Sampoerna Launches International Standard School
Putera Sampoerna Foundation in collaboration with ExxonMobil launched a boarding school level of upper secondary school (high school) and the first international standard in Indonesia. The school is dedicated to students and student achievement from pre-prosperous families across Indonesia.

Holiday in bali
Two weeks ago, before i had to go campus, for three weeks i had my holiday. It was usually happaned after student of gunadarma university was done of their final test. My friend told me in bali that season was good for spend my holiday there. So, early morning on Sunday i prepared for my stuff. And after that, i went to airport at seven o’clock. the plane was on time, then at a half past one i arrived in Ngurah Rai airport. I felt little bit tired, so i took a rest for a while in hotel. Then i looked for my late lunch in legian. There was a lot of food, finally i decided to choose jinggo rice. Jinggo rice was kind of specially food in bali, and jinggo rice was my favorite food to becaue the taste was delicious. After that, me and my friend were hangout around of kute. I saw a beautifull beach and really nice point of view in there.In my first day in bali i just went around of kute.
In second day my holiday in bali, i went to tanah lot. I had a really great day when i stayed in bali for six days i think there was real if bali was one of beautifull place in the world. And now, my holiday is over. But i was enjoy really having fun at my holiday in bali and i have to continue my study for new semester.
